The oldest and more mysterious culture Americas
In this tour, you will be following the path of a culture that began thousands of years before Christ. Olmec culture developed and lived along the Gulf Coast of Mexico in Tabasco and Veracruz State, southern states in Mexico. What they left behind is simply astonishing.
The Olmec society lasted from about 1600 BCE to around 350 BCE, when environmental factors made their villages unlivable.
The Olmec are probably best known for the statues they carved: 20 ton stone heads quarried and carved to commemorate their rulers.
The name Olmec is an Aztec word meaning the rubber people; the Olmec made and traded rubber throughout Mesoamerica
They are the culture that invented the use of the zero and the long count calendar, basis of the Maya calendar.
In this tour, we will see, Petroglyphs, archeology, giant monolith heads, do water sports in natural sites, taste and buy chocolate and vanilla thorough Morelos, Veracruz and Tabasco states.
